Saturday Learning Time is designed to help preschool age children 3.5 years old and up develop the skills needed for Kindergarten.
The SLT program provides quality early childhood education that promotes a child's interest in learning, centered around his/her mental, physical, and social development. The program takes place on Saturday mornings, from 9 a.m. until Noon. Classes are offered in sessions throughout the year (Please see the class schedule below).
Our program is dedicated to educate preschool age children to be ready for kindergarten. Our nurturing, loving and encouraging environment will enhance their learning experience. We encourage children to explore, to be curious, and to discover. We believe the best learning style is one where children can be hands-on. The more senses children use, the more concepts will be imprinted in their brain. Which results in bring out potential abilities, creativity, and provides a beginning in the child's education. Our program philosophy recognizes children are active learners, and play is how they learn.
School is not all about academics. Our program is designed to develop a positive self-image through social interactions and public speaking. We use active listening to develop emotional skills. We encourage stewardship of nature and life around us. Outdoor play is planned carefully to develop fine and gross motor skills. Music, art, drama, cooking, dancing are all important subjects and it making education fun and exciting!
All children 3.5 and up are able to participate in our program. Tuition is $25 a Saturday.
