Calling all graduates! On June 2nd we will recognize major educational transitions: preschool, grade school, middle school, high school and college graduates. Let us know if you have a graduation in your family and celebrate with St. James.
Bring Your Own Bible - We'll continue a study of the Book of Genesis after a hearty breakfast.

Sign up now for our annual St. James Gourmet Camping Trip on Father's Day weekend, June 14-16, at Samuel P. Taylor State Park in Marin County. Join us for the weekend, a night, or just for the day, but be sure to stay for dinner because the food is the real reason this trip is gourmet! Our theme is "A Taste of the Mediterranean" (Check out the Menu!). There is something for everyone: a creek for wading and swimming, hiking/bike trails, crafts, games, hot water showers (bring your quarters), campfire songs, or even just a quiet patch of sun. A sign-up sheet is on the bulletin board in the Parish Hall. If you have questions please contact Doreen Canton or Ryszard Pochron.

This course is designed to be an in-depth exploration of what it means to be a disciple of Jesus. It is appropriate for adults preparing for Holy Baptism, Confirmation, Reception, or Reaffirmation of Baptismal Vows in the Episcopal Church. It is open to anyone who is drawn by Jesus into a deeper encounter with his saving power and presence.
This is not an academic course about Jesus. While it will include theological study of the meaning of Jesus, it is focused primarily on developing a relationship with him and practicing a way of life shaped by that relationship. Thus, participants are asked to engage in practices such as worship, prayer, and service, as well as reading, reflecting, and discussing a set of common texts.
